Who has run the Rubicon in 2004 or 2003 of late? I am interested in information on running it with a TJ jeep. What would be the minimum equipment to minimize damage to your jeep? Lift in inches, wheel size and type, skid plates, etc. winch. I have heard there are some turnouts to bypass some very difficult areas where only the best equiped wheelers should be going. The write up on the Rubicon Trail says a stock jeep can make it but to expect body damage. Are they talking fenders, outer body, or the under carrage, or I suspect all of the above?

I'd like to hear from someone who is an experienced Rubicon Trail rider.
