I just thought about taking the alternator and moving it to where the AC compressor is. The reason being is because I don't like having my alternator be one of the first things getting dunked into the muddy water. Anyone done anything like this, or is this something I should not even worry about?

I have been thinking about doing this too on my 98 TJ. I may just wind up pulling my AC completely out, so I can move my altenator up and install OBA. I dunked my altenator two weeks ago and it died the next day, so it is defniately something that needs to be addressed in my book.
