Well I finally got a weekend where I had some free time so me and some friends went up into the mountains. We encountered many closed roads and close to a foot and a half of snow. So we pretty much had to make our own trails - Here's some pics!!

This is a small ravine that we stopped to play around in and do some minor hill climbing.

This is my friend Nick and his CJ-7

Here's the ol XJ posing... lots of white stuff.

Same thing - Good scenery!

The mountains were really pretty up there. Way high up though close to 10,000 ft elevation!

Here's where we stopped for lunch...and played in the creek.

For only having three vehicles we did fairly well and no one broke anything. Next weekend we are going to try and get a lot more people to go. I still have not had a chance to go out in town and take pictures of the Jeeps out here.. Maybe something to do tomorrow!

Later on - CoreyXJ

Well the moutains are called the Medicine Bow Mountins. They are all around Laramie, so Laramie is pretty much at the bottom of like a big cereal bowl...!!

The cool part about it is that those mountains and all the trails that are up there is basicaly in my back yard (10 minute drive tops) so I plan on going up there a lot this summer!!

I know them well. I'll try to find the link but I think there's a decomissioned fire lookout tower in the Medicine Bow National Forest that you can rent for the weekend. Wink

Hey I like the white 1994 Chevrolet Blazer with 3in lift and homemade lite bar with diamond plate on the dash and fire extinguisher strapped down next to the four wheel drive shifter and the old key clip on the key ring. I think it would look better if it were covered in indiana Mud though like my new three wheeler. PS the 1984 Chevy pick up here at my home would would go a lot farther

oh and i guess i like the jeeps too.

lookin forward to more great pics.

three wheeler dude out.
