Does anyone know of an aftermarket replacement for the ugly, bodacious, big gob of plastic that Jeep calls a rear license plate bracket on the Wranglers?

I pulled off my dealership plate frames to replace them with Harley Davidson logo frames and in the process of pulling the screws out and reinserting them into the cheesy threaded-plastic holes, I stripped two of the holes. Now it'll be easy enough to chase the threads with a tap or, at worst, drill them out and re-tap them a size bigger, but looking at the ugly-assed plastic mount makes me want to upchuck. Looks like something by Tonka that a kid should be playing with in the sandbox. Mr. Green

I've looked all over the internet but I don't see any replacement parts.

Thanks ahead of time for your help.

I've never seen a production replacement mount. Usually, the plastic one gets ripped off on a trail and the plate is remounted to the directly to the body and then bent to the same contour as the tub. Or, it is relocated entirely. Some to the rear gate if they don't carry a spare. Some to the area inside the spare. And I've seen others mount it to the rear bumper/tire carrier, if so equipped.
