I've started taking the doors off to wheel and clean up is a beoch ever time. I would like to leave full doors on but the bumpy trails rattle them and the noise drives me crazy. I checked with dealer and they are line up perfectly.

How the heck can I keep the door latch from making noise. I already checked, it's not the windows making the noise.

Thanks.

I try and wheel with my soft half doors myself. They don't rattle at all and keep the inside reasonably clear...especially with the Xenon extended flares I have.

However, you might try and put your side top pieces back on during wheeling. I forgot what they call them...but they attach to the sport/roll bar and tub, and the top attaches to it. I've noticed my full doors rattle much less with them on. I guess the only exception to this is if you have just a hard top. I have both tops...so I have all the hardware, too.

Just a thought.

They are called door surrounds, and make sure you have the rubber gasket that sits under them on the tub or they will rattle all to hell..
