I have been looking around for accessories I would like to get at some point ( after I buy some much needed floor mats and change the brake lines that look a little rusty)

Found a bunch of items I might get in the future on this ebay store.

http://stores.ebay.com/Upper-Bound_W0QQssPageNameZl2QQtZkm

But every thing seems expensive, especialy since its mostly just a bunch of screws and bolts

Theres 2 kits that are composed of thumbscrews , one for the hard top and one for the soft top. A bit expensive for just being 4-6 thumbscrews but it seems usefull.

Hard top quick release kit

Soft top quick remove kit

Another item is the adjustable door strap, I really need that to keep my girfriends 2 little girls from letting the doors fly open and smash into other parked cars.

I noticed that both my doors where missing the bolts that keep them on, and since I have to buy bolts for them was thinking of this

Door theft prevention kit

Ouch, 20 bucks for 2 special bolts.

This is the item Im looking into the most, its supposed to lock down my hood to prevent some one from opening it unless they know where the lock is

Any one know if this works?

Does any one know a cheaper place to get these same items? I tried looking at the local hardware stores with no luck on getting anything similar

Ditto to that. Im not a fan of the Ebay stores crap. IMHO all that stuff falls into the Buyer Beware, ya get what ya pay for crap.

Most of that can be found at Quadratec or a ton of other reputable online Jeep Vendors. You may pay a bit more for the same looking parts but I bet the quality is higher than most of the Ebay specials Ive seen. And with a reputable company your way more likely to true customer service should something be a problem.

I'll second that motion, too. I learned the hard way w/ my BB on ebay. There's a company called Mako Mfg. They claim to be comparable to Daystar. Maybe so but, customer service would have been worth the extra few bucks. The only guy I ever could talk to only had about 3 brain cells and they were all fighting for controll!

So, if I were you, I would listen to these guys and learn the easy way.
