I never even realized those were lumina vents. Now that you say it I don't know how I missed it. The teacher I "assist" at my job has a funny car modeled after a Lumina Z34. His engine makes about 1900 horsepower after two stages of nitrous. It makes about 1200 on engine alone. Good for a 6.92 at about 199 mph.

Worst problem is potentially your axle could be pulled to far rearward makeing it rub on turns and such.. (Also wont stuff well cause it will be to the rear of the wheel well...(Also make sure you check the drive shafts they may be to long without adjustable arms...

Give it a shot .. It might work out for you...You can always take them out if it doesnt ...

Start with a good free flowing exhaust and intake and good shocks are very important ..

Other than that ... Anything that you will need for offroading will be fine on a daily driver... Rocksliders of some sort will be fine... Skids .... That kind of thing... Wont affect how it drives on the road but will help alot offroad...
A L/S locker in the rear or a No slip ..... And if you have a 242 or 231 you can even put one in the front... Again.. wont affect you on road.. Will help a ton off road...

Thats a good start...
