I have a 97 TJ with the 4.0 in it. I want to put a lift on it. I was looking at the OME lift 2.5. There are also the cheaper spacer lifts. Would I be better off spending the money on the whole lift or do the spacers work fine? Are there any other companies that make a 2- 2.5" lift that is the whole suspension that might be better than OME.

IMHO no ones better than OME for the lifts under 4". There shocks are matched to the coils and all valving is calibrated for the Jeep. All other companies offer "what we give you" valving. When OME makes a kit, its truely made for the vehicle.

I'd most certainly 2nd that. For the smaller lifts they are probably the cream of the crop.

Ditto. OME is the best choice if you are on the market for a 2.5" or 4" liftle. Of course you pay for that quality too. If money is a concern you could also look at Rubicon Express kits. They are not quite as good as OME, but still damn good and a little bit easier on the 'ol wallet.
