FNG so please be gentile. Fresh 02 sensor, plugs, wires ,rotor, cap, filters, ect. Rig has an intermittent stumble on acceleration, though it dosen't do it every time. A guy at work said something about pullin the throttle body & cleaning somethin' or other fixed his neighbors with similiar problems.

You don't say what engine you have, but a lot of the steps in this article will be the same and give you an idea of what's involved.

Very helpful, thanks. Yeah I forgot to mention the 4.0 liter engine, duh!
The idle motor has tamper resistant torx fasteners so I just pulled the throttle body off & sprayed everything.
It still has a 1 second long sputter when I go to full thrittle but for everyday driving it's MUCH better.

Well, I finally went to a real mechanic. The diagnosis? One of the plug wires I replaced two years ago was intermittently failing under load.
