Got another set of Edelbrocks all the way around for my '02 GC rig (LOVE those for on and off road). Now need a steering stabilizer shock. Had those same shocks with a Rancho stabilizer shock that worked well on my '93 GC. Is that still a good setup? OME has them too. Black Diamond? And when I ask about buying one at an auto parts store they sit there and look at me like I'm from outer space so I'll need part numbers. The stock one is an absolute JOKE!

Have Fun,

G MAN

I have a Steering Stableizer from rustysoffroad.com. It was pretty easy to install, the hardest part was getting the old one off. They have single and dual shock setups. I have a single and it works pretty well. Keep in mind that I am not into real hardcore wheeling yet. If you do real hardcore wheeling I would suggest the dual stableizer setup.

Hi Jeepers ,

I replaced the OEM SS with Pro Comp SS and added Rusty additional shock on the tie rod . Like the set up .

But my Pro Comp SS ( OEM position on drag link - axle ) touches the track bar on full lock even with a dropped pitman arm ( right hand drive ).
Thinking relocating the SS from drag link - axle to drag link - body .
Is this O.K ?
