Remember him?

He was the Village People's original policeman character. But on Monday night, a real policeman stopped his car and brought him back in handcuffs.
Victor Edward Willis, 54, co-author of famous disco songs "In the Navy" and "Macho Man," left the popular music group in the late 1970s and began to accumulate felony charges for drug use. An alert police officer spotted his Chevrolet Corvette convertible at the eastern border of Daly City at 10:26 p.m. Monday.

Its owner had an outstanding $15,000 felony warrant for possession of narcotics.

Willis had no license or identification and initially lied to Officer Anthony Baroni about his name and residence, authorities said. Baroni noticed a .45 caliber handgun under the front passenger seat. It was loaded and had been reported stolen. Baroni also found rock cocaine and drug paraphernalia in the car, according to the report.

Willis was arrested on suspicion of six felony counts, including possession of a firearm, transportation of cocaine for sale and driving on a suspended license. He was booked into the San Mateo County jail and posted his $100,000 bail Tuesday.

Alright, they sing about "YMCA", where kids go to get off the streets, so they can be in the clear to "shoot up"?

Seems fair to me..... Shocked rofl

I didn't either so I searched around...

He indulged in a generous hit of freebase prior to each performance, prompting a meeting among the producers. They replaced Willis with Ray Simpson.
