ok thanks to u guys i have figured out that the error code 45 is "Overdrive solenoid - open or shorted condition detected in overdrive solenoid circuit." Can soem on give me more info on how i would fix this or if it is somthing better left to a shop. Also, what might has caused this. Is it safe to drive. it is a 97 GC with the 42RE atleast as far is i could figur.Any help would be great.

Thanks

Edit:

I have found out that the 45 error code means Trans temp sensor voltage too low. Voltage less the 1.55 volts. in 96 and newer and the outher 45 that i thought it was is for 93-95. Is this a sensor that can be easily checked and replaced or is it something that is actualy in the trany housing. Any info on this would be great.
