Swampy,
I read in one of the stickys you put up that you can run 32s with semi-minor trimming. How much trimming are we talking about? I am planning on possibly getting a 3.5 rubicon express super flex kit and maybe running 32x11.50 BF Goodrich All Terrain K/Os. Is this going to just be just trimming of the plastic bumper or are we talking sheet metal work. I want to stay away from messing with the sheet metal for a while. I have doubts about my skills with a sawsall and want to keep my jeep looking nice, at least for a little while. I like the look of the tj flares on your zj. What tires, rims, and lift are you running in the pictures on the tech write up?

thanks

Here is 3.5 with trimmed fenders and 33X12.5's...

I put the TJ flares on but you wouldnt have to..

I think I trimmed to the top of the fender line when I put those on..

Meaning the flat section of the fender line.. you know what I mean.. and in the back I just trimmed as much as I could without cutting the back of the door.. Mr. Green

If it where me I would trim the same amount for the 32's.. It will just give you a little more clearance..

Thanks for the help. Do you think any aftermarket xj fender flares will work? I haven't gotten around to doing any measuring on my friends xj yet.

I had a set of XJ flares that I was going to use but they didnt match the fender curves very well.. SO I went with TJ flares..

Check out 4WD hardware ...They have tj flares for like $35 a set ..(Front ) and about the same for the rear..
