i know i should check it out first, but i wanted to see if anyone else had similar problems. i just finished putting my 3.5" tuff country lift on my 94 yj (i'm 16... so im proud of my work Mr. Green ) but when i took it out for a test the steering is real tight right in the middle, like when im headed straight it kinds binds up, it'll turn all the way the rest of the way no problem just in the middle. I sware its alignment (getting aligned after i get my tires/rims so 2 or 3 days but no driving til then) but could it possibly be the steering box, the pitman arm was a son of a monkey nut to get off, but it did come after some coaxing and using large hammers. does anyone know if it could be the steering box? or what else it could possibly be, i just think its the steering box or the alignment (hopefully the alignment)i need help here pretty quick so thanx!
edit: nevermind, i figured it out myself... but just to help out neone else lookin into that problem, the screw in the middle of the top of your steering box (take off frame cover to access) jus loosen it... turn the screw itself loose... then tighten the nut back up, problem solved
