My 1997 Cherokee Sport has a little over 130,000 miles on it and its beginning to use oil (a lot of oil) and lose a lot of power. I know this seems like a low number of miles but the previous owner was very hard on it and I knew when i bought it that it wouldn't be long till a rebuild. I am wanting this motor to make decent amounts of power. Now I am not a dreamer looking to outrun guys with V 8s but i know that these motors are capable of making nice amounts of power. I have been trying to find any stoker kits and complete engine overhaul kits that will allow for overbored pistons. Not a lot of luck yet and I was hoping someone on this board could point me in the right direction(s). Along with stroking the motor I was thinking about a TB spaver, port, polish, and shave the heads, larger TB, cold air intake, free flowing exhaust, stage 3 programmer, along with some other mods. I was also considering a 75-100hp shot of nitrous. This may seem a like a little much to you slow rollin rock crawler guys but in the mud you need all you can get. Any help or comments/criticisms are all appreciated.
Thanks
Spencer
