Took the plunge after quite a few years and bought one. Kind of an impulse purchase. Prime use is towing little fishing boat around up in Eastern Sierra's and to enjoy having another hobby since departing my previous one. Jeep needs some work but not going to far with it. I do not want to make a career out of it rofl Just want it dependable.

I have been Looking for California forum. Been on other sites but almost all are east coast owners.

Moving this to the intro section. What part of the eastern Sierra's? up north or down closer to Mammoth?

welcome

Read up on FAQ. Good to go.

Will take some Pics this weekend and host on a picture site. It is not much, more important to me was it was all there and functioning and it had minimal rust (all light surface stuff)

Since I am new to Jeep products I have some stuff to learn. I have definitely come to the conclusion that people really use and abuse their Jeeps. I have seen a few 'Street' deals but they will never get used off road. Mine will continue the trend and be used. Not going to dump a bunch of money in it. I am actually jettisoning all the elctronic Jeep junk and going mechanical. Keep it simple and cheap. Just need to purchase tow bar and a better front bumper.

Thanks

Well I have but on my Suzuki Eiger 4 x 4. Look forward to doing it in the Jeep. I need to find the Jeep routes. Like I said the ATV had much smaller trails. Dinkey Creek has some trails for Jeeps I know.

You have a PM
