Hi,

I'm upgrading my closed cooling system to an open cooling system in my '88 XJ Laredo with 4.0L, Auto, A/C.

I'm not sure where the hoses should go to as they branch out from the Heater Control Valve. There's a small arrow on the valve. Aside from that I'm at a loss to how to hook up this valve.

Please provide pix if you've got 'em.

Thx, Phil Very Happy

Your old heater control valve flowed coolant from the water pump to the heater core inside your rig, and to the pressure bottle on the firewall. Your new control valve hooks up at the same spot, arrow pointing towards the cab (heater core). Theres no outlet for the pressure bottle hose...should be pretty simple.
