Im interested in lifting my stock limited to 4.5" w/ 32" wheels. I want to be able to move up in the future. i'll probably drop the transfercase 1" but eventually replace the slip yoke. this is the kind of things im looking for info on. any imput would be great. Razz

more than likely you'll have to do the sye at the same time of doing the lift.

so the drop kit is a waste? or just a short cut to go higher cheeper?

It doesn't always eliminate the problem. Coreyxj installed a 3.5" Rubicon Express lift on his XJ and needed a t-case lift to solve the vibe problems. On a 4.5" lift I would almost be 100% sure that the SYE would be needed. Even on TJ's anything over 3.5" will more than likely call for an SYE.

If you want to run 32's, get a 3.5" lift and trim your fenders. Some of the other XJ people will chime in.

i have a 4.5" RE with 32's and i only needed the t-case drop kit, but it could be different on yours.
