okay - dealership has not been able to figure this out - 99 Grand Cherokee w/ the dual zone heat/ac - the passenger vents are not blowing heat (or air in the summertime) - they appear just to be pulling air from outside. even if you switch from vents to defrost, it seems to blow outside air on the passenger side -

any thoughts?

Sometimes this can be related to a vacuum line disconnected in engine cmpt. or inside the dash. If u do a search here, i believe you will find your answer. I had this problem with a wrangler and that was the issue. The HVAC relies on vacuum to operate "blend" doors or something like that. Ask the dealership (or DIY) to check the vacuum applied to the Heat/AC control panel. Should hold at least 8 inches of vacuum. They (or you) may have to apply vacuum to all the different lines on the backside of the control panel. Good Luck!
