Alright, I have a 3" suspension lift and 30" tires. I want bigger tires but I don't want to spend much money. Is it possible to put a 3" body lift on with my suspension lift because I read that some conflict. And if I can put a body lift on, will it look hideous or will the Jeep's unibody system keep the bumper and body together?

Is this a trick question? Wink

You answered it yourself...it's a unibody. You cannot do a body lift.

I have never seen a body lift being sold for an XJ...point of clarification: Is this an XJ or a Wagoneer?

Because there's a sucker born every minute. rofl

Seriously, are you looking at a body lift for an older (i.e. late 70's) cherokee?

Exactly. If it's an 84-01 Cherokee (XJ) they do not make body lifts for them. If it's older, then it's a Wagoneer and there probably are body lifts available for them.

I assume you mean an XJ since you mentioned a unibody.

Lots of people run 3" and 32's with some trimming. It all depends on what your net lift actually is vs. the backspacing on the wheels you're running.

I've got a 3" lift and I am looking to get 31" swampers with (15"x10" rim)(5x4-1/2" BP) rims

Do you mean 5"x4.5" lug pattern or 4.5" backspacing? There is a difference. Also if you plan to wheel it, I would not run an aired down 10.5" wide tire on a 10" wide rim. You'll pop right off the bead.

Will these tires prevent the bead from popping off on a 10" wide wheel? RXS02R - Super Swamper TRXUS STS Radial, 31 x 1150R-15. I won't be riding with it deflated because I don't ride that serious.

Why are you hung up on 10" wide wheels? Get yourself some 8" wide wheels with about 4"-4.5" backspacing and run those 31x10.5s like you want.
