I know that jeep has come out with alot of new jeeps, and more to come in the future. But why did they stop manufacturing cherokee's? There have been alot of cherokee's bought. The cherokee's are a great buy and manufactured right. Why did they stop?

Oh, I've seen that video before, he breaks something really bad... But back to the topic, probably the same reason they don't produce CJ-5's, Scramblers, J-2000's and Chiefs anymore. As soon as you find the reason for that, let me know... Rolling Eyes

Usually vehicles are taken off the market because the technology in them can not meet modern emissions and safety standards, as well as corporate average fuel economy ratings. It's a sad thing, but pushrod engines like the 4.0 cant make the emissions of a modern overhead cam engine, plain and simple. Also, SUV's are being sold more to families as station wagons than to us offroad guys, and the manufacturer has to cater to that market. It's just too bad for us that awesome vehicles fall by the wayside to make room for lifted awd cars like the liberty.
