I can't even remember what the topic was, but yes, if you'e changed gears or tire sizes, you should change your speedo gear. Use this chart - it's accurate and if you go to the stealership, you can get it for about $18. Also buy the O-ring while you're there so you don't end up with a leak. http://www.raingler.com/tech/speedoChart.asp

topic #3 out of 9....

we use nitrogen gas for filling up our aircraft tires for two reasons - the lack of moisture prevents corrosion on the aluminum alloy rims and because it's inert and won't fuel any fires/sparks in the event of a takeoff/landing/taxiing incident.

Hey has any one tried to tilt the windshield forward and put the top down to get better gas mileage?
The frontal area would substantially reduced, and think of the exercise you’d get from dodging rocks and bugs!

Hehe...Ill let the windshield keep my face clear of the bugs.....and rocks, and sandblasting, and birdshit, and trucker grenades, and errant low flying birds...etc, etc.

Ever passed a double decker cattle hauler on the highway? Theres a realy good reason why the sides have large holes at the same height as the cow ass, and why the cows are loaded nose in! And guess what squirts out the holes? And cows being transported get very nervous stomachs....all 6 or 7 of them Mr. Green

Hey now, it was just an idea, With the vast knowledge and experience in this esteemed forum of Jeep enthusiasts, I thought for certain that somebody may have lowered the windshield in hopes to increase the mpg and share there wisdom with us.
Yeah, I know about those cow trucks, Watched a friend of mine get hosed down with cow piss while he was riding his motorcycle. At least he had a full face helmet on.
