Hey all,
Have a weird one here... one of my headlights burned out.. no prob. Went and got another and installed it and the lights came on like they are supposed to. Then as I go to drive it the first time... my headlight switch breaks (the post came out - I took it apart and it was the plastic that holds the release part in). Ok.. so I call the dealer who wants $70+ dollars for a new one - so instead ordered one from online for $25. When I get the new switch and install it - the headlights come on if I pull the switch all the way out but my taillights and running lights are out. If I push the switch in a notch.. my headlights are out - but my taillights and all other lights are on. I figured it was the switch and bit the big one and got one from the dealer for $$ and the same thing happens with that switch. Everything was fine before the switch broke.. any ideas?? I can get all the lights to work.. just not at the same time!!!
Oh...its a 97 TJ....
