My 02 JGC Laredo keeps going in and out of Part time. (The light blinks on and off). It does it all all different speeds. I called my Jeep Service place and of course I need to bring it in a pay $100. diagnosis charge. Does anyone know why this is happening before I bring it to them?

Is it actually shifting out of gear or is the light just blinking...

If its just the light I would say bad ground or loose wire.. If it is physically jumping out of gear its probobly a linkage..
