Today I spent a whole hour trying to replace the drivebelt on my jeep. I took it off in order to replace my waterpump but when I finished I realized that no matter how hard I tried I could not put the belt back on. It was fairly easy to remove after I loosened the tension by loosening the three bolts indicaded on a manuel aswell as removing one of the pullies. Now when I tried to put the belt back on I just cant streach the belt onto the pullies. Anybody know how this is actually supposed to be done?????

Oh its a six cylinder engine

Make sure your idler pulley is completely loose. Put the belt on. Tighten up the idler pulley.
