It sucks. I've been searching the hell outta the internet since I picked up the station wagon and the only consistent result is my cursing DC for switching to that damn 5x5 bolt pattern on the newer Grands. Here's what I'm thinking of doing. 2" budget boost and a set of 265/70R17's on an '06 WK. Ain't gonna be wheeled, but the damn thing just sits so low to the ground I feel it's the mid 80's again and I'm getting into my grandfather's Bonneville....just need some woodgrain Wink .

Anyways, from my understanding the factory wheels will work with the 'trimming of the bolt' (ball joint bolt is apparantly long enough to use a tow point Mr. Green ). I want to increase the track width a bit when I lift it as well, so I'm looking at either one inch spacer w/OEM wheels or aftermarket. I cannot seem to find anything aftermarket in this damn bolt pattern in a 17" variety that I would deem suitable on a Jeep. No chrome or intricate looking patterns, just a plain machined or painted simple looking wheel would suffice. I figure the market might open up a bit more selection when the new Wranglers come out with this godforsaken bolt pattern, but that'll still be awhiles down the road.

So, after all that typing (if you're still reading at this point)...does anyone have any links to wheels that might fit the bill? One last reminder, if it looks like it'd be on a vehicle thumping bass outta it with some sort of neon glowing somewhere in the vehicle, it prolly ain't for me Wink .
Drink more Ovaltine!!!
