Just bought this 1994 jeep (4.0 MT) delivered on a rollback.
It drove on just fine.
Took it off the rollback, drove it to parking space, ran fine, two minutes later I decided to move it again but it won't start anymore.
Checked the spark but there is none.
Got new sparkplug wires, dist.cap and rotor also the electronic pickup
in the dist....still no spark.
Put on a new coil, still no sign of spark.
Bought a used ECU on inner left fender from a junkyard, but still nothing.
Changed the cut off relay in fuse compartment, but nothing again.
Fuses are good.
Anybody know what else to try?
Thanks
Martin

Turning the factory key in the driver's-side doorlock disengages the security system manually. My dad's ZJ had a similar problem as well, and the alarm would go off randomly. The battery in the remote had died, so to get the ZJ to stop alarming and quit cutting off we had to do that trick repeatedly. If the security system doesn't stop engaging, however, it WILL drain out your battery.
