I inherited an '05 libby 3.7, 6-speed, 2x4. When I look down to the left of the stick shift I see a plastic cover where the transfer case stick belongs. The wife calls it the cell phone holder, but I think of it more as an empty scrotum. I called up the local Jeep dealership and was quoted >$3,000 to add all of the 4x4 parts, not including labor. Does the '05 KJ share any 4x4 components with older jeep/dodge models that I might be able to purchase at a discount? AKA Xfer case NP232 Cherokee for the NV232 on the libby?
Any thoughts on putting some nuts back into the sack?

Thanks!!!

Bent

I don't know if I'd go to that trouble... I'd just sell it and get a later model Cherokee, if you want something with about the same utility as the Libby.
