I have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee. I think the fuse may be bad or a relay needs to be reset for the wiper motor. I don't see the exact location in the fuse panel for the fuse for the wiper motor for the windshield. In the owners manual, it does not show a fuse in the kickpanel for the wiper motor. I also checked under the hood in the relay/fuse box. Nothing listed for the wiper motors in there either!
Also, where is the fuse located for the back up lights? The fuse location for the back up lights also is not listed in the owners manual schematic/diagram of the fuses.

I pulled every fuse in the kick panel, and all the fuses on the passenger side inner fender panel where all the other fuses are.

Does anyone know the EXACT location of the wiper motor fuse/relay and/or the back-up lights fuse? Any help would be appreciated.

None of the Jeep mechanics I contacted could tell me where it was. Sad Sad Crying or Very sad

Thanks!

The backup lamps are fused off a 20 amp circuit in cavity 11 in the fuse panel (Run/Start Ignition). Since you've pulled/checked all the fuses, it's most likely the neutral safty switch needs cleaning. Here's a writeup on that.

It could be a bad ground as well...

Now, the FSM lists the wiper motor as being fused by a circuit breaker (which is prolly Crycos way of saying 'really expensive fuse'). You can't get to it by removing the fuse panel door...you have to remove the entire kick panel. See the crappy scan below. The yellow block is what's accessable from the panel door. You need to get to the red circle. You should be able to see it, but getting it out of there is going to be a PITA unless you pull the kick panel.

HTH

Awesome! Thanks for the help. I'll check that out and see how it works.
