I am new to the whole jeep thing. I just purchased my first wrangler. It has a 4.2 in it now. I have a buddy with a 304 sitting on his garage floor that he says I can have. Would it be worth me swapping out the motors or no?

What are the horsepower and torque ratings for the 304? Is it Carb or Fuel Injected?

Why reinvent the wheel ? The 4.2 has plenty of torque , Put your money and time into an after market bolt on throttle body injection unit . Holley make them , and other vendors . The worst part of the 4.2 was the carb .
