Upcountry is a factory 1" lift. Stock tires are right around 29" or so.

10.5" wide might rub on the LCA's close to the steering stops...key word might.

My question would be why not go with 30"x9.5"? They should fit on an upcountry.

They might rub, they might not. It's not an exact science...every Jeep is different.

Whether or not they rub in the wheel wells will depend on how much the suspension has sagged over time. Rubbing on the LCA's will be determined by the size & backspacing of the rims...hell the brand of tires you go with will make a difference. Between three different 30" tires made by three different manufacturers you'll end up with three slightly different sizes.

Bottom line: a 30"x9.5" tire on stock rims might rub the LCA's at steering lock. If the suspension has really sagged, they might rub in the wheel wells under flex. A 10.5" wide tire on stock rims will most likely rub the LCA's at (or close to) steering lock.

thanks for all the help and information guys, its really appreciated. i think im just gonna go with some bfg 30x.9.50's and do a bit of trimming......
but you know those Trxxux STS's are very very temtping (29.10.50) especially since im going to hit the dunes up in august. but i hear they dont last too long. plus i dont wanna have to get new rims.
