Hi,
I am new to the forum and I am quite new to my recently purchased '97 Cherokee Country (select / commad trac).

I need some information regarding U-joint lubrication of the front and rear axles drive shafts. I only find one lubrication point at the front shaft slip yoke, but I do not find them at the U-joints. Same is true for the front axle drive shaft U-joints. I have the needle adapter for my grease gun, but I do not see where to insert it for lubrication. One mechanics told me, that those U-joints do not need lubrication anymore, which I have a hard time to believe. Can anyone point me to the (lubrication) points?
Thank you!
Johannes

I'm pretty sure they are completely sealed and they don't need lubtication. Even my old 79 GMC pickup was like that. Just replace them when they get noisy.
