I have a 92 2.5l wrangler. It's already had it's tranny rebuilt in o4, a new radiator 5 months old, new heater core 4 months old and now a new rear drive shaft 1 week old.

It's got 3.5" of lift on 31's. custom bomb proof front and rear bumpers with custom swing out and high lift attached. oh yeah and a 6k warn winch on the front.

My dilemma is replacing the 2.5 l for a inline 6 4.0 , my engine has 180 k already. That means a new t case and a new tranny, but which ones?

On the other hand I think I want an 06 rubicon...loaded with mopar off road pkg.
what do you guys think, I don't do the work myself since I am mechanically declined..... Crying or Very sad

If you don't do the swap yourself. do this remove raditor cap from your current YJ. open hood on a 4.0L HO YJ and install radiator cap.

Buy the Rubi. The engine swap will cost more than the yj is worth since your mechanically declined.
