When im driving, especially backing up out of a parkin spot or driveway and turning the wheels i get this popping from the front end....my guess is the control arms

I recently took a trip to Tennessee, and my jeep started popping and banging whenever I turned. It was the control arm.

Your sway bar is scrapping and banging against your frame.

The part you need is only about $20 from autozone.
one nut and one bolt is all you take off. On mine the control arm seperated in half.
When you take off the upper nut, the upper shaft has a slight taper and you half to beat on it to get it to pop out.

good luck....

mine does it at slow turns, especially in reverse, and sometimes if i hit a bump the right way

My drivers uppper gets loose some times and I have to tighten it up..

Make sure they are all tight and your bushings are all in good shape..

ended up being the wheel bearing that i purchased last week, took it back got another and so far so good, if it happens again im getting my money back
