I currently have a Ford 8.8 rear out of a 93 explorer is it worth keeping to swap with my Dana 35? The Ford rear is in good shape, just wondering how involved of a project it is.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

The best donors years for a Ford 8.8 are from a 95-01 Ford Explorer. Disc brackes and 31-spline shafts. You have drum brakes and possibly 28-spline shafts. Not the desirable setup really.

Check this thread for information on the build...
