I have a 1998 5.9 ZJ with close to 100,000 miles on it. My current goal is to fit 245/75R16 Goodyear MTRs to it and I have purchased a Rocky Road Outfitters 2" Coil Spacer lift for all four corners, the kit also comes with 2 bar pin eliminator shock extensions for the front end. Well, now my coils and shocks and nearing the end of their lifespan and I was wondering if I put on four Jeep Upcountry springs with the additional 1" of lift would I run into problems components to fit. I know this is not the ideal way to attain 3" of lift and it is a little haphazard. However, I am on a budget and I am purchasing parts a little at a time and will do no assembly until the end (aka when I can afford the new tires). If this is safe and possible then I would probably like to step up to a 31" tire since this is generally the smallest size offered for the really aggressive tread patterns. I aquired a second set of wheels a few years ago when another ZJ owner was upgrading to a larger size- therefore I could run the aggressive bias 31" when I'm going camping or on a wheeling trip and the others the rest of the time.
