I just bought a new to me 1994 Jeep YJ with a 2.5 lt and a 3 speed auto. It is a blast to drive but I would like a little more power, any thoughts. A bigger engine is out of the question, this thing was owned by a retired couple that pulled it behind there moterhome, it has 28,000 miles on it and is in mint condition, even the paint is perfect. I may do a lift on it and put on some nice rims and better rubber, but I don't want to get to carried away. I plan on using it for around town and I will pull it behind my 5th wheel for when we go quadding out in the mountains
Cheers

i hate to say but your starting off with lowest combo possible as far as engine/tranny althought i am not much better with the standards you can squeeze a little more HP out of that engine but any way to your ?

1st hi flow filter (I.E. K&N)
2nd remove the resticter ring inside the air box
3rd the expensive part regear because that is about the only thing that will give you significanly more power

Well, it will have to stay as is. This thing is a riot to drive. I may put a 2" BL on it and find some good tires and some nice rims and call it good.
Cheers
