I have a problem where my electric radiator fan isn't coming on when the engine reaches temperature or when the A/C is on. I traced it to the plug connector between the radiator fan and the battery down along the left side of the radiator. The connector ends are connected but if I pinch them together tighter, than fan will come on. It will stay on even after I remove my hands and operate normally. But, if I turn the engine off and immediately start it up again, the fan will not come on; even with the A/C on or with the temp past 210 degrees. I have to fuss with the connector to get it going again. Why wouldn't the fast start spinning again? It isn't like the connection jiggled loose again while driving; i'm performing this test while sitting still in the driveway! The red locking tab on the connector was missing but I have replaced it,; I still have the same issue. Has anyone else had this problem?
