I just recently got a 00 Grand cherokee, and my dilema is lifting it and what tires should i put on it. I was told by a shop who supposebly specializez in selling and instaling lift kits that if i lift it 4" i can put about any tire on, but if i just lift it 2" i need to get new rimz and tires too. is that possible. ? also the Budget lift, will that level my car and can i safely fit 30"s?(with little or no trim neccesary?)

2 inches should level it out pretty much and yes 30s would fit with stock rims

4 inches and some trimmin and i bet you can get 33s under there

are your rims 16 inch wheels?

yeah my rimz are 16" , man... ever since i got a jeep, every open field.. looks like fourwheeling terrain to me.. anyhow... i am thiniking about some 255/70R16(that is 30 inch diamenter if i did the conversion right..?!) that should fit pretty good on there, i hope. Plus is there any good feedback on those rocky road bugget lift? do'nt they hurt the car in any way?(i konw stupid question).

Yeah I got a rock-road bb lift. Pretty good stuff. I have never had a problem getting on the line with someone. I've been chatting with them over email about thier 4.5 inch lift kits and sent one email on sunday and got an email a few hours later. I was suprised to get ahold of someone on a sunday afternoon. That to me is a huge selling point.

viper i was lookin into that 4.5 kit... its pretty basic just front to rear swap new front coils and 1 inch coil spacers

you could keep your budget boost and get the old man emu 2.5 kit and you should be set to go, that is if the emu kit comes with lower control arms
