I'm wanting to put disc brakes on my Dana 35 and eventually go to a Super 35 kit. I'm running 33s and will be there for a while. I know Teraflex has a kit for $500 but I know some 4x4 Company takes them from Grand's with a Dana 35 (year 95 to 9Cool that will bolt right on and they will ship the kit to you for around $260. My problem is that I can't find the website and was hoping that someone on this forum knew of it. Thanks in advance.

honestly, i would recommend you save your money and stick with your drum brakes and stock axles for now. with 33's your Dana 35 won't be around for long. and if you take it offroading regularly, then it won't be that long before it goes out.

save your money, and when your Dana35 goes, get yourself a Dana44 and build it up. that way you'll get your money's worth instead of throwing it away on the Dana35.

my wife has a 97TJ daily driver that she has only taken on grassy trailrides a few times, and the axles and spidergears were trashed. i ended up building her a Dana44 with detroit truetrac, alloy axles and disc brakes for the price of a junkyard axle.

a ford 8.8 rear end might be cheaper and it already comes with disc brakes.

correct. but it will need some slight "fabricating" if i remember correct.

don't you have to move the leaf spring perches??? i don't have a welder, so i opted for the D44. but if i did have a welder and the proper skills, then i would have went that route too.

you could take it to a welding shop, just make sure your measurments are exact cuz once they weld its either right or you cut it off and get them to do it again, but they will charge you again

Kizer did this conversion on the cheap. I think THIS WRITE UP might help. He installed the super 35 though. It's held up great for him with 33's.

Hope that helps.
