I have a real big problem my fuel injectors are leaking and so is the regulator. Im thinking its either the seals or the injectors them selfs. Becasue i just replaced the seals and it leask worse than b4. The problem with the regulator is that i unhooked it from the gas line to remove the fuel rail and now since i put it back on it leaks in a steady stream so do i need a special seal for that or what?

I just went through the whole injector thing with my 88 XJ. Did a lot of research and found the best replacement injectors (and best price) from Five-O Motorsports http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injector_SetsJEEP.asp I got the "Green Meanies" Bosch Design III that put out 20lb pressure and are meant to work with the stock computer system. When I first got the 88 I replaced all of the O-rings on the injectors and the fuel regulator. Seemed okay for a while but then started getting bad fuel leaks out of the #3 injector whenever I had a cold start...after warming up the leak stopped but had a lot of fuel dripping...dangerous! Anyway, I got the new injectors (set of 6 for about $230...they come with all new O-rings as well as a new O-ring for the fuel regulator (where it goes into the fuel rail). Everything works like a charm now...no leaks! Everyone I talked to before I did this said that the first stock injectors used on Jeeps are prone to leaks and clogging...they will eventually leak out of the top part of the injector near the electrical connector. New stock ones were listed at twice the price I paid for the new Bosch injectors from Five-O. These are modern injectors with different and more efficient design than the old stock ones. Make sure that you get new "quick connect" fuel connectors and use those when you re-connect the fuel line to the fuel rail (both supply side and return line) The fuel line connectors are a dealer only item as far as I know and they charged me $15 a piece for a little piece of plastic and rubber rings...youi might want to search around for a cheaper price. Anyway, this will probably fix your leak problem and it will definitely improve overall performance.
