Hi there. Norway calling. Have any of you any experience with changing Trac lok discs?
Ive got a 92 Cherokee Limited, 4x4 full/parttime, with real good "clunks" in the back when i drive slow and turn the wheel slightly.
I got the "diagnose" from my local mechanic this week, they spent hours driving n listening, and concluded with worn/damaged disks. (thats AFTER opening the diff and finding it good as new, costing me $300)
And now they want me to pay about $2000 to fix it.
Then I found the disk set on 4wd.com at a price that suits me better; $76.99.
Is changing the disks so hard that its worth $2000?
