looking at my manual, it seems like you need a bunch of special tools to do anything to the differential. I'm almost sure my ZJs front pinion bearing is going out. I replaced my rear bearings and seals and one axle a while ago so I know what I'm capable of. I just need someone thats done this before to tell me I can do this or should I take it to someone else?

Also, where my ZJs driveshafts enter the TXFR case, you can move them up and down as if the bearings are worn. Could this be sending the roar/whine sound I hear up front no matter what speed i'm going.. wether I'm speeding up or slowing down.

Thanx in adv
RR
