hey guys...went to AAMCO today to see how much my tranny is going to cost to get taken out, rebuilt, and put bak in...plus a shift kit

the girl told me that its going to cost anywhere between $1999.99-$3000.00.......think this is a alright price? im thinking it is since well the stupid mechanic that was tryin to do it for me before said 5K rofl but yeah....tell me wat u think...1993 ZJ LIMITED 5.2L V8 4X4 TRANNY IS 46RH

go to a different shop and see what they say

that sounds high to me

yeah i know....i was about to eeek when the girl told me that.....im thinkin of going to this place that rebuilds motors and ask them if they know of any good places or if they do it...if they do for a reasonable price ill prob just get them to do it cause im sick of lookin...have been for a while now Evil or Very Mad Sad

I have a dodge chrysler jeep dealership in Decatur, Indiana. In my shop that transmission rebuild would cost 1200-1500. That should be accurate unless you need a lot of hard parts. I know that the labor rate in CA is crazy high. Good luck.

there a way u could get it rebuilt for me? lol.....and has anyone heard anything about Phoenix Remanufactured Transmissions? cause i might just get one of theres off of ebay for $1000
