Whatís up guys? Iím new to this forum, but HOLY CRAP was I excited to find it. I just wanted to bounce something off you guys before I go out and spend a bunch of money needlessly.

Last week I went to take off from a red light and the tranny wouldnít shift into gear. It just revved high and then eventually slowly started moving me forward. I went straight home changed the fluid, filter, tightened the bands and added some Lucas. It seems like itís been running fine since then.

What I noticed though is that before I changed it my fluid was really fullÖover full. Iíve also been having a problem with my radiator getting low although Iím not aware of any leaks. Iíve heard that since the trans cooler is integrated into the radiator itís possible for coolant to leak into the tranny fluid. Anyone ever have a problem with this? Is it true?

I figure itís better to be safe than sorry. Iím thinking about replacing the radiator with a 3-row one from Radiator Express. They have it for $140. So what do you guys think? Does it sound like Iím on the right track here? Any help would be appreciated.

My radiator fluid has been getting low too. I finally realized that my heater core is bad and that it is leaking into my heater vents. My windshield fogs up really bad and when i turn on the heater is smells like antifreeze.

I noticed that my jeep hesitates at take off but only if i am in a hurry. It only happens when I start the engine and put it into gear while the idle is still high. I usually let the engine come down from the intial start and let the engine warm up a little.

I got the radiator swapped out this weekend. When I got the old one out I could see there was corrosion around the area where the trans cooler lines go into it, so I'm thinking I was on the right track. Only time will tell for sure I guess.

I upgraded to the 3-row radiator and it made a big difference in the operating temp. It runs a lot cooler now. I'm very excited about that seeing as how I live in the middle of the desert.

I got it from Radiator Express. I actually ordered it through their eBay store because it was cheaper that way than just going through them directly...go figure.
