hey i just got a 89 chevy truck and it has ugly white wheels Rolling Eyes so i was woundering...is there a certain way i can paint them so the paint doesnt just chip off ? or can i just take em off sand up and paint them like anything else? im painting them black and gunna get the truck painted black also...i dont want this truck to be a money pit...im tryin to just flip it

anything will help...thanks

Pretty much, I would a good cleaning & use enamel paint so it can flex with the rims, all rims flex some & some paints are still Laquer in cans.

so what kind of clear coat do i get...im gunna go to home depot tomorrow...theres also a pep boys just down the street...so..wat kinda clear coat do i get cause i dont know? is there a certain kind i get?

so far im gunna get rustoleum primer and black paint

so wat clear coat?

Rustoleum clear!! It has fish oil in it, so no other will stick good & WILL fish eye bad because of the oil in rustoleum!!!! So do ALL rustolum Wink
