I ran the RE1600 on the XJ for awhile...it did the job and didn't have any problems. Only reason it came out is that the Jeep got a bigger lift (it's got Full Traction bar under there now). We do have a JKS currently under the front end of the TJ. Again, does the job and hasn't caused any problems.

I will point this out though, the JKS bar is greasable on the axle mount side while the RE is not. Something to think about...

I've had a JKS bar under there for a few years, since the original Full Traction one broke after three rides. The only problem is that I have been breaking the upper bolt, the joint to the frame. Carry a few spares, and you will be fine.

Any problems with the JKS and the grease fitting?

Since you had to drill the frame mount for the RE1600 did you have any problems switching back to a smaller hole as with the jks?

What size bolt are you using on the jks? did you have to do anything special to get it to fit?

I want to try the RE1600 but do not want to be left with a frame mount hole that is too big for any other track bar

You can't go back once you drill out the taper for the RE or JKS trackbars.
