Hi everyone.First, let me say this is a very informative board and I feel confident I can get my questions answered here.
We just purchased a brand spanking new Jeep Wrangler X this last Saturday. We should take delivery sometime this week. The question I have is..Right away I want to change out the stock wheel and tire combonation to something that looks a little more rugged and standoutish. This jeep is purely a summer vehicle and will NOT be driven in snow or off road.Purely a summer, top down,on road toy.I have always loved the look of the Cragar SS(Super Sport)wheels.Think this would be a good wheel to put on the jeep for my application?if so,what size should I go with with wheel and tire?I want to fill the wheel opening a little more as I feel the stock wheels and tires leave alot of open space.Whatever I get I do not want anything huge.Just enough to fill things in alittle more proportanatly.Any suggestions on street tires?Looking for a solid raised white letter QUALITY tire.Thank you to all who can help me! John

31x10.5R15 with some 15x8 wheels

You pick the brand and styling.

Just watch the backspacing on whatever wheels you choose. A lot of 15x8 alloys have 3.75" backspacing which will kick the tires out past your flares. If your state has a tire coverage law on the books...you'll need to be aware or it.
