Last I checked it was open now, it closes seasonally:

A number of Forest Development Roads (FDRs) will remain open through the fall and close January 3 then open again April 1.

* Stoney Run Jeep Trail (FDR 162) (This is Big Levels!!!)

For up to the minute info contact the Glenwood and Pedlar Ranger District Office, Monday through Friday, 8 AM until 4:30 PM at (540) 291-2188.
