SOOOO It's time to buy Wipers. Other than the obvious choice of "the cheapest" I am kind of curious as to what brand/type of wipers you guys are using.

Oh, and something else- is anyone using anything other than a 12" blade?

Oh, I tend to get in a lot of MUD down here, so a wiper that could clear some mud would be great too.

HA! It's funny you should ask. I need to replace the wipers on both Jeeps and was wondering the same thing...

I await the replies with bated breath! Mr. Green

Im not wiper brand loyal. I just use the winter ones year round. They keep the mud out of the flexing parts of the wiper and replace them when they start getting beat up.

Trico brand can be found almost any store.....I think thats what I have. I dont bother with the fancy tri-blade or gimmicky deals, the mud chews them up just like the cheepie's.

So you use the standard 12" blades?

Anybody use silicon blades? I've heard a little bit about them.

Silicone blades are the best thing since sliced bread. I've got them on everything but the TJ and I've found the water pretty much beads up and is pushed off by the wind. Nice. I had a lot of trouble finding a 12" silicone blade for the jeep until I came across these. I think they're designed more for semi's but if they work, then I'm happy. Mr. Green
Also, for you people who are cursed by a 9 month winter, check out the heated blades.
